Applying for Membership

Welcome to the Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard. We welcome all applicants. The only requirement for membership is that you be an honorably discharged veteran. You will also need to show a copy of your DD214. There are 4 forms that will be required:


  • Uniform Issue; Application & Receipt;
  • Foreign Commerce, Possess or Receive Firearms and Ammunition;
  • SNC Honor Guard Association Application for Membership and
  • VA Application for Voluntary Service.     
They are all relatively easy to fill out. Simply pull up the form adjust to adequate size and print. The first 3 of these forms are listed in the tabs on the home page.  If you have trouble finding the last form, you will find it listed in the posts. You should be able to copy the form heading, "VA Application for Voluntary Service," and put it into the search window. This will take you to a link that will bring you to the form.  If you have to much trouble with the forms simply take a break and go to the contact list. Anyone would be glad to hear from an interested candidate.
