Wednesday Squad Dismissed

As you may already know Wednesday squad has been let go. We are going to need new members; so if you have an opportunity to leave some brochures or approach a friend that may be interested please do so...the organization as a whole will be stronger in the long run.

Board Meeting

There is an officer meeting this Saturday at 9:30 in the morning. It will be held at post 1498 of the VFW in Clifton Park. The address is 1605A Rte.9, Halfmoon Parkway, Clifton Park, NY.  It is very important that the officers and the squad leaders attend or have a representative there. Veterans Recovery Day Program / Memorial Day

Hello Everyone, I am writing you as contacts for your squads. The Veterans Recovery Day Program will be held on June 8. Anyone who would like to attend should contact April. I would appreciate it if you would run this past your squads and let them know. Anyone whom signs up for the day will be responsible for contacting April to let them know they will not be able to attend. She needs this accountability in order to arrange the service properly. It is also important that I let you know you will need to be there at 11:00 a.m. Anyone who wishes to attend the Memorial Day service should be there by 1:30 p.m. Thank you, J.P. Dartt

Kerry L. requested that slideshow reflect the photos from the guard. I once again put my nose to the grindstone and was finally able to make it happen. I did all of this at the wee hours in the morning so if anyone notices any errors please kindly let me know. Military Recognition for Saratoga National Honor Guard

Hello Everyone, I am presently trying to make connections with DOD to get military recognition for the Honor Guard members. I am looking for a list of members from each squad with names and proper spellings or nicknames of squad members. The name should reflect however the member wants there name spelled. In other correspondence I have used the term active duty members. When I say this I do not mean active duty military, I mean active duty members of the guard. It would be difficult or impossible to include members that have not shown up for an extended period of time. I think that deceased or injured rosters are perfectly acceptable members for inclusion.
